Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Software, Electronics, Operational Research, or Computer System Engineering.

- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

- Experience with production operations and best practices for deploying quality code in production and troubleshooting issues when they arise.

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud, and DevOps tool, Database management

- 2+ years of experience in the development, management, and organization of Golden Gate replication.

- Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specifications, architecture diagrams, and presentations).

- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and automated deployment pipelines

- Practical knowledge of DevOps tools and principles (CI/CD, configuration management, containerization).

- Knowledge of version control using Git.

- Experience in Maximum Availability Architecture & Best Practices for Oracle Database & Exadata.

- Understanding of REST Architecture and JSON is a plus.

- Building and managing Linux OS systems with good understanding how the Linux kernel works (IO, Network, etc.) and ability to read and understand source code.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Site Reliability Developer, you will be instrumental in achieving our mission to enhance healthcare services. Your key responsibilities include:

- Architect, develop, and deploy serverless and scalable cloud applications using OCI Functions and related services.

- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and business applications using Oracle APEX.

- Build and maintain automated orchestration pipelines for application deployment and lifecycle management.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to define and implement CI/CD strategies and best practices.

- Contribute to strategic projects outlined in our roadmap, focusing on transitioning on-premises databases to Oracle Cloud.

- Work collaboratively with multiple teams, actively participating in the execution of roadmap projects.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure the reliability and performance of cloud-based workloads.

- Write effective, production-quality Python code for automation, data processing, and backend services.

- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for production environments.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-team collaborations.

- Act as a trusted technical advisor to solve complex Infrastructure and DevOps challenges.

- Solve complex and difficult problems and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.

- Participate in incident management, operational/security maintenance, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

- Contribute to the growth of the team by mentoring new associates, facilitating knowledge transfer and team development.

As an SRD, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability, performance, and efficiency of Oracle's database services for healthcare clients, directly impacting mission-critical business functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient business solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role requires a deep understanding of backend technologies, strong automation expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions, large-scale issue analysis, Experience with CI/CD, Microservices, DevOps, PL/SQL, Python are highly valued. Expertise in Oracle APEX, Oracle Cloud, Autonomous Database, SQL performance management, partitioning, compression, Exadata, and Oracle GoldenGate are major plus.
