- Oversight of critical spaces – capacity management, monitoring power and cooling requirements, and response to critical events and/or incidents.
- Work with external groups as needed to support and resolve issues impacting DC operations. Partnering with colocation suppliers and vendors to delivery 100% uptime and availability.
- Complete small projects independently and work with your manager on planning and completing larger local projects.

- Procurement and Inventory: Receive, track, and ship data center equipment as needed.
- Work collaboratively with partner and cross-functional teams within your data center.
- Provide technical guidance to vendors and foster vendor relationships.
- Oversight of hardware installation (provisioning) and decommission of workflows.
- Rack and stack of data center equipment, including but not limited to servers, networking devices, monitoring systems and other equipment.
- Handle daily work through internal tooling systems such as JIRA ticketing and Confluence.
- Documentation of activities and strict alignment to SOPs regarding compliance and standardization.
- Participate and complete training that aligns with corporate objectives to bridge skill gaps and learn new relevant technologies.
- Works independently, evaluating incoming work and taking appropriate actions to resolve any open issues while understanding when to advance appropriately.
- 3-5 years working in an IT environment.
- Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware systems and components.
- Knowledge of critical data center infrastructure power and cooling.
- Excellent time management skills.

- IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, Linux/Unix, CLI, etc.)
- Network connectivity concept knowledge (Layer1 connectivity within the DC)
- 2-year or 4-year degree or relevant work experience
- 4+ years of enterprise data center experience
- Linux administration knowledge or other command line interface knowledge/experience
- 2 year+ experience in Structured Cabling Copper/Fiber and testing of cables.
- 2 year+ experience in Cooling and Electrical systems concepts inside the data center.
- Experience in repairing and working on enterprise server hardware.

As a Site Lead, you will be the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Center Environment and will be key in maintaining the Operational run aspects. You will be supporting our growth path and will be recognized as a ‘technical expert’ with a focus on core Data Center infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. - Provide and teach advanced fix and repair techniques of data center hardware and networking infrastructure within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Rack and stack of data center equipment, including but not limited to servers, networking devices, monitoring systems and other equipment.
- Landing racks, cabling, power up and handoff of servers to internal provisioning teams.
- Handle daily work through internal tooling systems such as JIRA ticketing and Confluence.
- Documentation of activities and strict alignment to SOP’s
- Review, action incoming and open tickets, prioritize work based on ticket severity.
- Inventory process: Receive, track, and ship data center equipment as needed.
- Install, label, and fix fiber/copper/telecom cables as well as patch panel systems.
- Understand, interpret, and alignment to local site requirements.
- Be punctual in arriving for shifts on time and provide proper handover reports after shift to the next team member(s).
- Participate and complete training that aligns with corporate objectives to bridge skill gaps and learn new relevant technologies.
