Principal FMW Engineer - SOA

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations using Oracle SOA Suite 12c/14c (BPEL, Mediator, OSB), including REST/SOAP services, adapters, and error handling frameworks
- Administer and optimize Oracle WebLogic domains (managed servers, clusters, JDBC/JMS, threading, tuning, connection pools)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Maven, Jenkins, WLST/Ansible) for deploying composites, OSB projects, and configuration
- Manage SSL/TLS, keystores, certificates, WS-Security, OAuth2, SAML, and role-based access controls; enforce security baselines and patching cadence
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems (thread/heap analysis, logs, diagnostics) using OEM, WLDF, ELK/Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana
- Implement HA/DR patterns (clustering, session replication, database RAC connectivity, backups, runbooks) and performance/load testing
- Execute environment lifecycle tasks: installs, upgrades, CPUs/PSUs, platform hardening, and automation of config drift remediation
- Collaborate with app, DB, network, and security teams to deliver resilient, compliant integration solutions; follow ITIL processes (Incident/Change/Problem)
- Create technical documentation: architecture diagrams, deployment guides, SOPs, and knowledge articles
- Optional stack components based on need: Oracle BPM, MFT, B2B, OHS, OAM/OIM, OUD/OID, ODI, API Gateway / API Platform, Kubernetes/OKE, OCI services

We are seeking an experienced SOA/FMW Engineer to design, build, secure, and support integrations and middleware platforms across Oracle SOA Suite and related Fusion Middleware components. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with Oracle SOA Suite 12c, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), WebLogic Server, and modern DevOps practices, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and security in enterprise environments.

Required Qualifications
-8+ years hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12c/14c and Oracle WebLogic Server in enterprise environments
- Strong OSB/BPEL/Mediator development or platform administration experience, including WLST scripting and automation
- Proficiency with CI/CD and source control (Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins), scripting (Shell/Python/Groovy/WLST), and configuration management (Ansible)
- Solid understanding of enterprise security (TLS/SSL, cert management, SAML/OAuth, WS-Security), network fundamentals, and zero-trust principles
- Expertise in troubleshooting and performance tuning (JVM, GC, JDBC/JMS, thread dumps, heap analysis)
- Experience with HA/DR, clustering, and rolling patch strategies; familiarity with Oracle DB/RAC connectivity
- Practical knowledge of monitoring/observability tools and log aggregation
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- OCI experience (Compute, LB, Networking, Vault, Logging, Monitoring, OKE), Terraform/IaC
- Experience with Oracle Identity stack (OAM/OIM), WebCenter, or API management
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR) and secure SDLC practices
- Performance/load testing tools (JMeter/Gatling) and APM solutions
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Oracle SOA Suite 12c/14c Implementation Specialist
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate/Professional
- Oracle WebLogic Server certifications
