Responsibilities

As a Manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud service on top of the modern Infrastructure as Service (IaaS) building blocks at OCI
• Help drive design and build distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant software systems
• Participate in the entire software lifecycle – development, testing, CI and production operations
• Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns like writing run books, ops automation, structured logging, instrumentation for metrics and events
• Leverage a plethora of internal tooling at OCI to develop, build, deploy and troubleshoot software
• Participate in on-call for the service with the team and drive operational success of the cloud service we build.
• Work closely with senior management and architects in planning and roadmap activities
• Build a high performing team by hiring and nurturing top talent.
• Provide regular feedback to team, conduct formal reviews and talent ratings
