Key Responsibilities:
- Create, test, and deploy application packages for Windows and Mac platforms.
- Customize installation packages using industry-standard tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF, MSI, PKG).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate software requirements and ensure compatibility, particularly with Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience with packaging, distribution, licensing, and configuration of Microsoft 365 applications in an enterprise.
- Support and maintain application packaging best practices, ensuring security and compliance.
- Troubleshoot packaging issues and work with end users and technical teams to resolve them quickly.
- Manage and leverage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF, for application deployment, including Microsoft 365 apps.
- Maintain detailed documentation of packaging and deployment processes.
- Manage, configure, and maintain operating system and web browser profiles across Windows and Mac environments to ensure consistent user experiences, enforce security policies, and support application compatibility. This includes applying configuration baselines, managing browser extensions and settings, and addressing updates or patches.
- Identify, assess, and remediate software vulnerabilities by applying security patches, configuration updates, and industry best practices to minimize risk.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience packaging applications for both Windows (MSI, EXE, App-V) and macOS (PKG, DMG, JAMF packages)
- In-depth experience deploying, configuring, and updating Microsoft 365 applications through automated tools (Intune, SCCM, JAMF, etc.).
- Proficiency in GitLab for version control, repository management, and collaboration on packaging workflows, including hands-on experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., automating build, test, and deployment processes for application packages to ensure continuous integration and efficient delivery across environments).
- Strong knowledge of MDM solutions, especially Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience using automation tools for software deployment and configuration management.
- Understanding of application compatibility, security best practices, and enterprise deployment standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with automation test tools like Appium for desktop application testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in MDM platforms (Microsoft, JAMF, etc.).
- Experience in Zero Trust or modern endpoint management.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar certification.
