Job Summary
As a Senior Consultant within Banking Consulting Europe, you will play a pivotal technical role in the development, implementation, or support of Oracle’s next-generation banking solutions. Operating independently with guidance as needed, you will collaborate with cross-functional and client teams to deliver solutions that meet the evolving business, regulatory, and technical needs of financial institutions.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
-
3–7 years’ experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications, with at least 2 years using Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and XML.

Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar core banking products.
-
Skilled in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, database management (Oracle 18c/12c), and application server deployment/support—preferably Oracle WebLogic.

Proficiency in release management, source control, and issue tracking tools.
-
Strong client interaction, communication, and documentation skills in English.

Willingness to work offshore/on-site, within rotational shifts, and travel as project needs dictate.
Good-to-Have:

Exposure to banking domain, banking technologies, and banking terminology.

Familiarity with DevOps, testing tools, Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, Oracle Fusion SOA/Middleware.

Knowledge of modern software development practices.

Experience in high-pressure, fast-moving project environments.

Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Act as a Senior Technical Team Member in development, implementation, migration, integration, and managed services activities for Oracle FLEXCUBE and related core banking solutions.
Analyze, design, and implement solutions for complex business requirements, coordinating with Oracle and client stakeholders.
Develop software programs per given specifications using Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, and related technologies, ensuring adherence to defined standards and processes.
Support software deployment and troubleshooting, particularly on application servers such as Oracle WebLogic, and ensure quality code delivery.
Conduct and support test cycles, including unit testing, EOD (End of Day) runs, and execution of migration/integration activities.
Document all deliverables and activities according to agreed standards and processes for audit and compliance purposes.
Perform issue tracking, timely status reporting, and knowledge transfer at assignment conclusion.
Participate in release management, source control, and compliance reporting, including timely submission of timesheets and expenses.
