The NetSuite Customer Success Operations team is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, results-oriented professional to join the Contracts team as a Contracts Analyst. The team is part of a dynamic global organization, chartered with providing mission critical support for the sales cycle including, but not limited to, contract reviews, deal structuring, contract research, business approvals, and enablement. The Contracts Analyst serves as a key role in the sales cycle – partnering with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and other back-office teams to structure, create, review and approve deals/contracts. This role offers a wide exposure to all aspects and areas of a growing cloud business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review, draft, and finalize professional services contracts, ensuring a seamless process for both standard and custom agreements
  • Support the creation of new contractual templates and assist with the maintenance of our template library
  • Lead and support key contracts initiatives; Support continuous improvement of Contracts team and cross-departmental processes
  • Coach other team members, fostering an environment that encourages skill enhancement, professional development, and personal growth
  • Diagnose and resolve escalations, ensuring swift and effective resolutions
  • Execute on a range of Contracts team tasks, including contract research, deal structuring, and obtaining business approvals for deals of varying complexity and scale
  • Research and propose alternative contractual language within Oracle guidelines to facilitate negotiations and accommodate customer needs
  • Provide guidance for the Consulting Sales and Delivery teams on standard/non-standard contract language, approval requirements, Oracle policies and pricing/discounting
  • Foster strong relationships with Sales, Customer Success teams, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and streamlined, efficient processes
  • Manage a high volume of contractual reviews in alignment with priorities communicated by leadership
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies. Be a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand complex sales issues.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working extended hours during month-end and quarter-end closings, which may coincide with weekends or Holidays

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of professional services/consulting contract drafting and negotiating experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • Proficiency in French language preferred
  • Knowledge of NetSuite preferred
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with sound decision making skills
  • Embrace change and have an ongoing focus on process improvement
  • Strong ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills required
  • Strong Project Management skills preferred
  • Proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a global environment, including willingness to attend meetings outside regular business hours when needed
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and resolve issues
  • Must be able to function as part of a team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
