You’ll bring fresh insight to projects that are changing lives in India and around the world. As the Compliance & Ethics Analyst for India, you will be responsible for the following functions:
Analyst Functions
- Monitor and administer and regularly enter into Ethics Point for all Compliance matters up to its closure.
- Generate a quarterly Global Compliance Report (“GCR”) that reflects status of compliance matters reported for each quarter for presentation to senior management and the Finance & Audit (“F&A”) Committee.
- Prepare system analytics and reporting for senior management on Management Action Plans (MAP) arising from compliance investigations. Collaborate and meet with key stakeholders as required to ensure agreed actions are carried out. Track progress of each (MAP) till its closure.
- Assisting the Compliance and Ethics (C&E) team for providing training of Compliance Policies of the company to the employees/partners/suppliers and other stake holders.
- Undertake initial reviews under the global compliance approvals process for business courtesies, conflicts of interest, and other compliance approvals, and respond to requests for approvals as appropriate.
- Maintain records of approval requests for marketing events, sponsorships, meetings, business courtesies and entertainment, disclosure of conflicts of interest and external engagements in the region.
- Assist in accomplishing Compliance and Ethics Program goals by accepting new responsibilities from time to time, and by exploring opportunities to add value to the organization.
Support Functions
- Responsible for administrative support to India Compliance Counsel.
- Provide guidance to Oracle’s internal departments including sales, operations, procurement, alliance and channels on ethics, business conduct and compliance matters in India.
- Assist in contacts with compliance key stakeholders (HR, A&C and Other LOBs).
- Assist in monitoring and implementing compliance policies and business practices.
- Maintain working relations across LOBs.

- Undergraduate legal degree
- 4+ years of legal experience, preferably in a combination of global law firm and in-house environments. Experience in the high technology industry as well as previous experience in compliance preferred.
- 2-3+ years Investigation/Forensic Audit/Compliance experience is preferred
- Prior experience with/knowledge of Compliance & Ethics investigations, FCPA and UK Bribery Act is desirable
- Experience in working on Ethics Point Application preferable
- Basic interviewing skills are desirable
- Integrity and commitment to the highest ethical standards and personal values
- Presence of mind, the ability to think critically and ask appropriate questions and a resolution-oriented mindset
- Superior written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
- Excellent judgment and the capacity to make decisions and give advice that demonstrates an understanding of the risk/rewards of each situation
- Practical and creative problem analysis and resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and prioritize work as needed to meet business needs
- A high level of self-motivation and commitment to client service including the ability to work as part of a small, dedicated team of compliance personnel.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
- Willingness to travel, as required
