Job Title: Tech Solutions Engineer Intern
Location: Woodmead, Johannesburg
Program Duration: This internship is a 12-month program starting 1 April 2026.
Eligibility: This internship is open to graduates who have not previously participated in an internship or held a permanent role for over 12 months.
In line with our obligations under the Employment Equity Act 1998, preference will be given to candidates from designated groups

Purpose of the Role
The primary objective of the Tech Solutions Engineer (TSE) Intern role is to assist the wider TSE team in providing technical solutions while indirectly supporting the Tech Sales Representatives. The intern will act as a knowledge support structure for Oracle’s products and services, contributing to opportunity generation and enhancing the team's efficiency.
What you will do
- Support to the On-Prem Presales Team:
- Identify value opportunities to generate leads.
- Conduct research on the customer install base and provide insights into customer industries to support account strategies.
- Drive action items for the team and assist in team meetings.
- Reporting:
- Support business operations through reporting activities.
- Prepare weekly team action reports.
- Opportunity Tracking:
- Take minutes during internal and external meetings.
- Collaborate with customers and team members to drive actions toward closing opportunities.
- Assist the manager in maintaining team cadence and hygiene.
- Customer Involvement:
- Arrange and attend customer meetings alongside account managers.
- Facilitate collaboration between partners and account managers.
- Support to the Technology Software Leader:
- Populate dashboards for forecasts and updates.
- Organize meetings with partners and customers.
- Record minutes from meetings.
- Professional Development:
- Acquire mandatory Oracle certifications to apply knowledge practically in daily work.
- Implement a new or maintain an existing APEX project.

- Minimum Qualification: BCom IT / BSc IT / BSc Informatics
- Desirable Qualification: BSc IT (Hons)
