Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing technical team specializing in Oracle Database administration, backup/recovery strategies (including ZDLRA), and cloud migrations.
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader, driving architecture decisions, overseeing deployments, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements.
- Define, track, and report on management KPIs to ensure team effectiveness, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business stakeholders to create robust, secure, and scalable database and backup environments.
- Champion innovation by driving the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, and industry best practices within the team.
- Foster a culture of AI adoption by integrating intelligent automation and data-driven solutions into operational workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Team leadership experience including managing technical projects, reporting, and KPI development.
Extensive Hands-on Experience In:
- Oracle Database Administration
- RMAN Backup and Recovery
- Large-scale enterprise operations
- Cloud management tools (3-5 years):
- Oracle Cloud (preferred), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Python
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Jira
- Linux administration
- Escalation management (minimum 5 years)
