Career Level - IC2
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
- 3-5+ years relevant experience
- Hands-on experience in Java, SQL, Python/Bash scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, TerraForm, Ansible, DevOps.
- Good understanding of Linux Operating System.
- Understanding of software engineering principles - version control, modular design, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Data Integration service in OCI or orchestrating and automating CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud services, virtualisation, or SaaS products
- Knowledge on Oracle Tech Stack.
- Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment
- Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at different levels in the org
- Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling
