This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to develop hands-on skills in cloud infrastructure, security, networking, and AIOps while working with experienced engineers in mission-critical environments.
As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud environments, focusing on reliability, basic automation, security best practices, and modern networking concepts. You will collaborate with senior engineers, SREs, and architects to build your proficiency across cloud platforms, observability tools, and AI-assisted operations.

Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure on OCI and/or other cloud platforms
- Assist in implementing networking components such as VCNs/VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and firewalls
- Contribute to the configuration of cloud security controls (IAM, policies, encryption, segmentation)
- Help maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads under supervision
- Participate in basic automation tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting
- Monitor system performance using observability tools and help identify potential issues
- Assist senior engineers in incident investigation and troubleshooting
- Learn and begin applying AIOps concepts, including anomaly detection and automated alert correlation
- Document procedures, runbooks, and infrastructure components
- Continuously develop cloud engineering, networking, and security skills through training and mentorship
- Experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, DevOps or related fields
- Foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts (IAS, VCN/VPC, IAM, compute, storage)
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, load balancers)
- Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line usage
- Some exposure to security fundamentals (least privilege, encryption, identity and access management)
- Interest in Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Basic scripting skills (Shell or Python)
- Strong desire to learn modern cloud platforms and security practices
- Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Familiarity with monitoring or logging tools
- Interest in AIOps technologies, ML-based monitoring, or automated remediation
- Completion of cloud fundamentals certifications (OCI Foundations, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals)
- Coursework or personal projects involving cloud, security, networking, or DevOps
