As part of Data Pipeline AI Engineering team, you will design, model data solutions and build AI agents to support analytics, machine learning and task automation. The role is a full stack engineer role focused on various technologies related to Data Engineering and Web applications.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on Software Design, Development of highly scalable data applications
  • Proficient in AI Technologies - LLM, NLP, Prompts, RAG, Embeddings, Graph Store, Vector Store, Cluster Store, MCP, LangChain, LangGraph
  • Proficient in Data Engineering technologies like Spark, Airflow, dbt, ETL pipelines
  • Proficient in technologies Java, Spring Boot, Python, JPA, Database, SQL & RDBMS Design
  • Web UI technologies like Oracle JET, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5
  • Deep knowledge of all aspects of Cloud native distributed system development such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Google Cloud
  • Expert in tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of Data Warehouse, Data Lakes and Data Modeling techniques
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, Masters is preferred

Senior Software AI Data Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot AI based software programs in the area of data warehousing, data engineering and enterprise applications built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and handling large volumes of data.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Developing AI Application: Design, Build different AI Agents, Chatbots, Workflows to support various data pipeline configurations.

Developing Data Solutions: Implement and enhance data-driven solutions to integrate massive amounts of data in real-time/batch mode from various data producing systems using state-of-the-art tools such as OCI Data Flow, OCI Data Integration, Spark and Kafka. Embrace modern data architecture philosophies including data products, data contracts, and data mesh to ensure a decentralized approach to data management. Expert in Advanced SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and testing data gaps & data quality

Data Pipeline Development: Develop and optimize high-performance, batch and real-time data pipelines employing advanced streaming technologies like Kafka, NoSQL and Oracle ETL Tools to address challenges associated with large-scale data processing and analysis.

Cloud Data Management: Implement and oversee cloud-specific data services including Autonomous Data Warehouse, OCI Object Storage with Parquet and Delta-Tables and OCI Streams. Leverage cloud architectures to improve data sharing and interoperability across different business pillars

Security and Compliance: Ensure all data practices comply with security policies and regulations, embedding security by design in the data infrastructure.
Incorporate tools and methodologies recommended for data security and compliance, ensuring robust protection and governance of data assets. Ensure data governance, security, and compliance: lineage, cataloguing, DQ checks, PII protection, and privacy‑by‑design
