As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

‧ Good understanding of Engineered systems, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture.
‧ Managing database and related products in the Engineered system and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
‧ Assisting customers in their Journey to Cloud – transition from On-Premises Database environments.
‧ Supporting customer Databases and Engineered systems products in Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud.
‧ Proactively working with CSS customers to ensure their successful deployment of the Oracle Database and related products in On-Premises and Cloud environments.
‧ Experience of any of the following would be a definite advantage
- Oracle Engineered Systems
- Unix / Linux
- KVM / Virtualization Platforms
- Container / Kubernetes
- Bigdata / Hadoop
- MySQL / TimesTen
‧ Available to work in 24x7 capability for critical support.
‧ Expert knowledge of Engineered systems, Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM.
‧ Strong Engineered systems skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g, and 19c.
‧ Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard Skills are highly desired.
‧ Experience with Non-Oracle To Oracle migration skills will be an advantage.
‧ Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Engineered systems products.
‧ Experience with Engineer systems ODA, Exadata and Enterprise Manager12c & 13.
‧ Experience in Oracle engineered system of infrastructure as a system engineer.
‧ Sharp technical troubleshooting skills.
‧ Good understanding of Oracle support processes.
‧ Plan and implement Engineered systems, Oracle databases, middleware, and applications on cloud or on-premise.
‧ Participate in the planning and execution of complex customer projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
‧ Provide technical support for Oracle infrastructure-related issues.
‧ Strong understanding of Engineered systems, Oracle databases, middleware, and enterprise applications.
‧ Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
‧ 5+ years of experience with Oracle infrastructure, including OCI, Engineered systems and on-premise environments.
‧ BS and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
‧ Oracle OCM or OCP DBA certifications.
‧ Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional.
‧ Some travel may be required for training or customer visits.
