Oracle Cerner is excited to hire a System Engineer II .This is a Tier 2 or L2 Production Support role. As a System Engineer II, you will perform troubleshooting investigations reviewing Issues by gathering information, using troubleshooting tools, shadowing end users, and testing workflows internally and externally. You will perform troubleshooting investigations via backend methods by capturing log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and updating/cycling servers. You may also need to review scripts writen in SQL, System Integration and Perform Sanity Checks. You will communicate effectively verbally and in writing to clients and internal stakeholders. You will document notes, activities, resolutions, and other knowledge articles throughout the lifecycle of an investigation. You will prioritize work based on severity and urgency balancing client and business needs. And, you will collaborate among and across teams to ensure issues are addressed by the appropriate individuals. you will perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability, mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting.

* Troubleshoot/Investigate via backend methods by capturing log files, ability to read and analyze log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and cycling servers.
* Perform changes by following Change Management Process.
* Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Document notes, activities, resolutions, and other knowledge articles throughout the lifecycle of an investigation.
* Prioritize work based on severity and urgency (SLA/SLO), balancing client and business needs.
* Perform complex troubleshooting investigations, document notes, and knowledge articles.
