The Technology Deployment and Management Service (TDMS) organization is a critical arm of Oracle FLEXCUBE’s consulting group, delivering Oracle Technology services to Financial Services Global Industries Unit (FSGIU) product customers. While our Applications team focuses on customization and setup, TDMS is dedicated to end-to-end technology enablement, both on-premises and in the Oracle Cloud.
Role Overview
Are you passionate about Oracle technology, cloud computing, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)? We are seeking a highly capable, self-motivated, and independent Infrastructure Technology Lead to join our India-based team. You will oversee all aspects of managed service delivery—from technical execution to customer success—ensuring our financial institution clients receive best-in-class infrastructure solutions on Oracle and modern cloud platforms, with an increasing focus on AI and ML integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily technical operations for on-premises and cloud environments.
- Analyze project briefs, requirements, and deliverables to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Liaise with engineering teams to drive project completion and technical excellence, including AI/ML adoption.
- Communicate directly with clients to ascertain and translate their needs into actionable solutions.
- Ensure systems and software are regularly updated and maintained.
- Develop detailed project structures and technical documentation.
- Provide strong leadership to develop, communicate, and achieve program objectives.
- Deliver technology services and AI/ML-driven solutions to financial institution customers, leveraging both sales and technical expertise across project cycles.
- Identify transformation opportunities, key IT issues impacting business, and make technology and AI/ML recommendations to customers.
- Manage service delivery within agreed budgets, ensuring strong financial stewardship.
- Periodically assess risks in managed services, developing and executing mitigation plans.
- Ensure overall service delivery and strict SLA compliance.
- Maintain a high degree of commitment and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
- Manage 24/7 L1 and L2 production support teams to resolve issues rapidly.
- Drive program delivery management, IT infrastructure outsourcing, ITIL processes, people management, and contract/financial management.
- Communicate service delivery health, performance, and potential risks to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and report on consumption trends.
- Own capacity planning, cost optimization, cloud disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Oversee team training, upskilling, and certification programs.
- Stay updated on advancements in AI and ML, evaluating and deploying tools and automation solutions to enhance service capabilities and operational efficiency.
Skills & Requirements
- 18+ years of experience in managed service delivery, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management (servers, virtualization, storage, data center, monitoring).
- Strong understanding of both on-prem and cloud architectures, including cloud security and compliance.
- Practical knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in IT operations, monitoring, automation, or analytics.
- Experience in integrating AI/ML-based automation tools or solutions within enterprise infrastructure is a plus.
- Capacity planning, cost optimization, disaster recovery, and business continuity experience in cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to create pricing estimates and manage TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
- Proven success managing large, global clients including CXO/CIO-level engagement.
- Ability to translate customer business challenges into actionable technology and AI/ML-enriched requirements.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills for both customer and internal engagement.
- Strong independent decision-making, flexibility, and agility in a global, collaborative environment.
- Track record of team leadership, program delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- ITIL knowledge and experience in IT outsourcing/managed services preferred.
- Willingness to operate in an on-call and 24/7 support environment as required.
