As a senior manager, you will apply your experience and knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. Your focus will be driving innovation, deliver new features and maintenance in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will be leading talented developers in defining new enhancements to OCI networking service features. You will collaborate with other teams

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of software engineers responsible for OCI networking services - enhancements, availability, security, scaling, testing and customer issues.
Define, execute, and deliver the product roadmap for OCI networking features to meet evolving customer and compliance requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, operations, and security compliance teams.
Ensure secure software development practices, including code reviews, safe deployments and operational readiness.
Mentor, develop, and retain talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
Monitor project progress, handle resourcing, and adjust priorities as needed to meet business and technical goals.
Stay current on the latest trends in Cloud Networking, Security and AI tools to incorporate them for continuous service improvement.
Represent the team in technical discussions and project reviews with stakeholders, customers across multiple geographies.
Drive continuous process improvement and contribute to strategic technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
9+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or management role.
Strong background in distributed system development and management, security principles and hands-on experience building infrastructure software.
Solid understanding of modern cloud platforms
Familiarity with secure coding practices, common security vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and people management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Networking Services
Experience leading a Networking Infrastructure service in a large-scale enterprise software environment.
