Fusion Application (SaaS) Performance, Scalability & Benchmark (PSR) group works with applications development organization to maximize the performance of the Fusion Application (FA) SaaS cloud products. We review and approve proposed designs, participate actively in evolving development processes, performance guidelines and best practices for the FA development organization. Test the performance of the product to identify performance problems with the product, recommend performance resolution to solve these problems and if needed perform POC with the proposed solution. We produce benchmarks, sizing , toolkits and performance whitepapers.

Apart from this the group also review the fleet wide customer patterns to ensure overall performance, stability for the product by developing tools, solutions which helps in rapid triage, proactive observation and analysis.

Senior Performance Engineer with a passion to improve the performance and quality of SaaS product. Leverage your extensive implementation and design experience, proven Linux OS, Java/CPP, SQL, OAC/OBIEE/BIP platform tuning of large, complex analytic applications to Identify, analyze and provide recommended solution quickly for performance issues encountered with the product.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Understand/gather performance test requirements, prepare suitable test case and test plan. Complete ownership and responsibility on setup, configuration, administration, data loading and tuning the BI environment
2. Analyze application performance and identifies issues by installing the required environment, executing the required test cases, identify the slow performing areas, review and provide potential solutions to these issues with due impact analysis.
3. Work on critical customer performance issues / cloud fleet patterns and provide short term solutions and root cause analysis.
4. Execute performance test using tools like (JMeter/Gatling/Shell Scripts/Python) for various UI, batch, micro benchmark analytics use case. Collect respect performance metrics and publish test results.
5. Profile the relevant techstack (UI, Java, Weblogic Server, DB, C/CPP, Linux OS) to identify the bottleneck, raise bugs, followup with development team for further explanation and agreement to solve the issue.
6. Analyze UI performance by using devtools, covering CPU, Memory, response time issues and well versed with single page application (SPA) architecture
7. Analyze backend heapdump, thread dumps, JFRs, OS system process / thread analysis etc.
8. Develop tools using JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, shell scripts for overall productivity of the day to day task. Should be comfortable with writing code (any language).

Desired Profile : (Java Script/System/Load test)

1. A self motivated person who loves technology and can quickly adapt to new tools/technologies and provide recommendations for the same in the ever changing cloud landscape.
2. Ability to profile a system from UI , application, OS/Storage with strong UI, Linux , Java,WLS and database.
3. Master of performance testing, tuning & benchmarks concepts and methodologies.
4. Experience working with SPA UI architecture and performance tuning activities for any UI framework (Angular, React, KnockOut etc) would be a added advantage, if its a cloud BI tool or platform even better.
5. Experience working with Server side performance tuning activities for any integration, analytics platform.
6. Experience working any other database (SQL, noSQL), Data platform (Pipeline, ETL, replication) and reporting tools (Tabelau, MS PowerBI etc)
7. Experience working on microservices architecture based systems.
8. Medium to advance level UNIX administration skills is a must.
9. Usage of GenAI, ML , Agentic system will be an added advantage.
