As a member of the Customer Success Services (CSS) organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. You are the point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As an OCI Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will play a key role in migrating, building, and maintaining cloud-based systems to ensure scalability, security, and resilience. This position requires close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to support Oracle’s cloud initiatives and customer environments.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and manage OCI resources (compute, storage, networking, database, etc.)
• Implement best practices for OCI architecture and secure cloud environments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Resource Manager)
• Monitor cloud resources, optimize cost and performance, and manage incidents
• Support cloud migration efforts: assess, plan, and execute migrations to OCI
• Implement, configure, and maintain OCI security features (IAM, policies, VCN security, etc.)
• Develop and maintain OCI deployment documentation/playbooks
• Troubleshoot and resolve OCI environment issues
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD processes on OCI
• Stay updated with new OCI features and recommend improvements

What You'll Need

• Note: This candidate must be a Singaporean that is cleared on G50 Cat1 Security Clearance so as to deliver Singapore government projects
• At least 8 years experience working with cloud infrastructure (ideally OCI)
• Cloud Platform: Proficient in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Load Balancers, Autonomous DB, etc.)
• Networking: Strong grasp of Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), subnets, routing tables, security lists, firewalls, VPN, FastConnect, DNS, and load balancing in OCI
• Automation: Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred), OCI Resource Manager, and scripting (Python, Bash, or Shell)
• Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix and/or Windows administration in cloud environments
• Security: Understanding of OCI Identity & Access Management (IAM), policies, key management, encryption, and compliance controls
• Database: Experience with Oracle Database (on-premises and cloud), Autonomous Database provisioning and management
• Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and incident management tools
• Cloud Best Practices: Knowledge of high availability, DR, scalability, and cost management in OCI
• Migration: Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies (on-prem to OCI)
• DevOps Essentials: Basic CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes/OKE), and version control (Git)
• Certifications: OCI Architect/Operations certifications (Associate or Professional level) preferred
