We are seeking a talented and motivated full stack Software Developer with a strong focus on front-end development to join our Fusion Warehouse Management (WMS) product team. Our technology stack leverages Oracle JET for front-end user interfaces, Python for backend development, and Oracle Database for data management. Prior experience with Oracle JET and Oracle Database is a plus, but applicants experienced with other modern front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js) and RDBMS platforms are encouraged to apply. Python will be your primary backend language; experience with other programming languages is valued if your programming fundamentals are strong. You will play a key role in developing new features and maintaining existing solutions for our WMS product.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming skills and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Experience with Oracle JET is preferred. Candidates with experience in similar modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) will be considered.
- Backend development experience, with Python preferred. Sound programming fundamentals in other languages are also welcomed.
- Experience with Oracle Database is preferred. Solid knowledge of relational database concepts and experience working with any RDBMS is required.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as SVN and Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise applications or warehouse management systems.
- Exposure to cloud services and/or environments and familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
- Exposure to web frameworks such as Django.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Fusion WMS - Front end focused full stack software engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Design and implement new front-end features and user interfaces using Oracle JET. Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js will be considered if direct Oracle JET experience is lacking.
- Backend Collaboration: Integrate front-end features with backend services written in Python. Strong Python skills are preferred; other backend programming experience is also valued.
- Database Integration: Design, implement, and optimize database interactions, preferably using Oracle Database. Sound knowledge of relational database systems (RDBMS) is required.
- Maintenance: Maintain and improve the existing codebase for front-end, backend, and database components, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Testing & Quality: Write unit and integration tests for new features; participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Documentation: Produce and update clear technical documentation for new and existing features.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize application performance, proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues as required.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry developments in front-end, backend, and database technologies.
