Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 10 plus years experience. BA/BS degree preferred.

We are working on Intelligent Performance Management which leverages machine learning and predictive analytics for generating valuable business insights and financial predictions. As a dedicated Data Scientist in our team, you will apply data science and machine learning expertise to enhance our product and improve Insights and prediction capabilities. You’ll work with the team to identify and build features, create experiments, vet ML models, and ship successful ML model recipes that provide value additions for thousands of EPM customers.

Responsibilities
Data scientists looks at data collected from disparate sources and analyze it from various angles, make inferences and eventually recommend certain application of data that helps make appropriate business decisions.
The data scientist would study the EPM Applications offerings in-depth, explore the insights that the Applications data provide and envision adding new dimensions to the offerings using what-ifs, predictive, big data and other advanced analytics. In the process data scientist would leverage his / her knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization in coming up with the recommendations.
About the Successful Candidate
The successful candidate is a self-motivated technical leader who can deal with complex problems without supervision. She/he is a curious person in finding patterns and insights in massive unknown data sets. Qualifications for this position are:
Must qualifications for this position are:
- Overall 8 to 15 years’ experience in
· Data mining and data sciences
· Data modeling, hypothesis testing, statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling, machine
learning
· Using time series analysis techniques
· Building forecasting models for financial & operational use cases
- Expertise in Python
- Knowledge of analytic methods such as clustering, association rules and decision trees
- Effective communication skills and strong problem resolution skills
- MS or PhD or equivalent
Desirable qualifications for this position are:
- Familiarity with Java/J2EE technologies
- Experiences with Big Data technologies
