Oracle seeks an accomplished, inspirational sales leader to manage and develop high-performing Cloud Services Sales (CSS) professionals focused on technology accounts across the west and mid-west. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving new business development, expanding existing client relationships, and achieving rapid growth in Oracle’s CSS offerings within the tech industry. The ideal candidate is a proven sales manager with an in-depth understanding of the cloud services landscape, technology industry trends, and best-in-class sales practices.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cloud Services Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed revenue, pipeline, and activity targets.
  • Establish and communicate sales goals, metrics, KPIs, and best practices aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, sales forecasting, and performance analyses; ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Mentor team members in account strategy, deal structuring, solution proposal development, and effective negotiation.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous learning on industry trends and Oracle solutions.

Strategic Sales & Account Planning

  • Oversee the execution of comprehensive account and territory plans targeting both new and existing technology accounts.
  • Facilitate the team’s collaboration with internal cross-functional partners such as product, delivery, and marketing teams to create compelling customer propositions.
  • Drive strategic initiatives, demand generation activities, and value-based selling in alignment with Oracle’s growth strategies.

Customer Success & Relationship Management

  • Review and support high-impact, executive-level customer engagements, ensuring optimal solution alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion and escalate complex opportunities to remove barriers and accelerate deal closure.
  • Ensure effective customer onboarding and ongoing partnership to maximize client value and retention.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Oracle’s sales processes, contracts, legal, and business standards.
  • Allocate resources effectively and manage sales operations within allocated budgets.
  • Implement operational improvements and risk mitigation, maintaining alignment with Oracle policies and business ethics.

Talent Development & Team Building

  • Attract, develop, and retain top sales talent; establish onboarding and training plans for new hires.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and high ethical standards within the team.
  • Provide actionable feedback, coaching, and career development guidance.

Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing Cloud Services Sales team driving Oracle Customer Success Services growth within technology accounts across the Central and Western US.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,800 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Requirements / Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience in cloud services, technology, or enterprise solutions—at least 8 years in a sales leadership/managerial role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales teams to exceed quota within large, complex account environments.
  • Deep understanding of the technology sector and customer success models.
  • Experience leading solution selling, forecasting, and contract negotiations with strategic clients.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, set direction, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree (required); advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50%.
