- Work collaboratively with Colocation provider and other key stakeholders to ensure 100% data Center availability.
- Work Closely with Access management and Security System to Adhere Oracle Data Center Security Standards.
- Work closely on Incident/Change/Problem management of Data Center Space/Cool/Power
- Proactively find out the Risk associated with Data Center operations management and take action.
- Initiate Corrective and Preventive actions on Incidents and implement Global best practices.

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems OR equivalent work experience
- 10+ years proven track record in IT Infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment (200 - 1000+ server systems).
- Prior experience in Data Center environment preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in remote multi-functional teams as well as, inventively and independently as an individual
- Demonstrated examples of a drive to dig into the details of a system or process errors to tackle customer problems
- Experience working in mission critical operations environment
- This position has a physical component requiring the ability to lift up to 25Kg and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations
- Ability to speak confidently & communicate clearly in a virtual environment
- Strong Alignment to process and be a process champion (including drafting new processes or testing shortcomings in existing)
- Superb communication skills (oral & written) and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers and team environment
Data Centre experience requirements
- Knowledge in Liquid cool Data Center
- Collaborating with Colocation providers
- Incident/Change/Problem management
- Rack, stack equipment including commissioning of new racks
- Strong structured cabling skills on fiber and copper (e.g looming, term & test)
- Airflow management (hot aisle, cold aisle, containment etc.)
- Good understanding of data center design, including electrical and cooling plant & operation thereof
- Strict consistency to defined Health & Safety processes
- Working in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team without friction
Required systems & hardware expertise
- Hardware repair, diagnosis & break/fix
- Cabling (Fibers & copper) installation & troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, basic troubleshooting)
- IT Hardware Concepts (RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, SCSI, FC, ethernet, iLO)
- Core OS Services: SSH, Telnet, RDP, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP etc.
- Base Operating System Installs and configuration
- Systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers)
