We’re seeking an experienced Senior Principal AI/ML Software Engineer with a strong background in Oracle Identity Management (Oracle IDM suite, IDCS) and deep expertise in AI/ML technologies. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions integrated with Oracle Fusion Applications. You’ll leverage your AI/ML skills to incorporate advanced threat detection, user access intelligence, and automation in cloud-native environments.

  • 7+ years’ Oracle IDM (OAM, OIM, OIG, OID) and IDCS experience; strong knowledge of Fusion Applications and Oracle Cloud Security. Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) products is a plus.
  • Deep expertise in AI/ML: foundational models, RAG, agentic architectures, end-to-end model lifecycle (deployment, optimization, monitoring, retraining).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices in cloud environments; proficiency with programming in Python, Java, and/or Go.
  • Familiarity with large-scale enterprise ERP applications and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience designing observability dashboards, defining SLOs/SLIs, and leading on-call readiness.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, project management, and communication skills.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.   • Lead the conceptualization, design, implementation, and testing of end-to-end Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Oracle products, including OAM, OIM, OID and IDCS.
  • Integrate and optimize AI/ML models for identity security use cases—such as anomaly detection, access risk scoring, and user behavior analytics—within Fusion Applications and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Analyze and document customer requirements; architect IAM and security solutions that incorporate the latest advancements in Generative AI (GenAI), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic architectures.
  • Guide strategic decisions for Oracle’s AI/ML and security solutions portfolio; maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in identity, cloud security, and AI.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor for security, IAM, and AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and sales teams to drive project success, ensure compliance, and maximize customer value.
  • Author detailed technical documentation and solution specifications for customer engagements.
