About the Role:


As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) in the Database Cloud QA team, you will drive the quality strategy of our products and ensure that our software solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to create effective test plans, develop automation solutions, and identify quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

* Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, or similar).
* Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or other modern languages.
* Experience testing cloud-based, SaaS, or large-scale distributed systems.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), test management tools, and source code repositories.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of Oracle products and cloud technologies.
* Experience in AI technologies is nice to have

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex enterprise applications.
* Build and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to understand requirements and technical design, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
* Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams on timely resolution.
* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA engineers.
* Contribute to continuous improvement processes in test automation, coverage, and reporting.
* Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
* Stay current with new testing approaches, tools, and technologies, driving their adoption as appropriate.
