As a Technology Consultant with Oracle, you will be part of the world’s most complete, open and integrated business software and hardware Systems Company leading the digital transformation!

You will be responsible for leading the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. You may act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. You will effectively consult with management of customer organizations, participate in business development activities, develop and lead detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to Technology & Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Practice Manager

• No direct reports

• Able to present at any moment Oracle Consulting's view regarding selected technologies, systems and improvement possibilities

• Assumes Solution Specialist role for the selected technologies

• Must offer hands on experience of Oracle Fusion Middleware, including Oracle SOA Suite

• Define/ develop Web service architectures and development using the Top-Down approach

• Demonstrates knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns

• Reviews proposed Technical Solutions and corresponding estimates for selected bids

• Identifies new possible projects and/ or extensions for Oracle Consulting, works closely with Consulting Sales Representatives in the Sales process, constructing technical and business justifications for it

• Supports Project Managers in making timely and effective technical decisions by assessing possible technical solutions with corresponding risks and evaluating alternatives

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

The Technology Consultant will be an integral member of the Consulting Team and the ideal candidate will have:

• Education level: university degree

• Technical background and/ or involvement in technical projects

• Knowledge of the following Oracle Technology concepts: Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, Microservices, Private Cloud Architecture

• Working experience with the following Oracle Technology products: Service Oriented Architecture Suite, Web Services,different Java frameworks, python

• Knowledge of other similar Technology products (IBM, Microsoft) is considered a plus

• Knowledge of handling digital signature including concepts and processes in considered a plus

• Working experience with different Application and web Servers such as WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, JBoss,Apache

• Working experience programming in Java

• Experience with Integration projects in large organizations using Oracle Technology or other products is strongly required

• Working experience with other Oracle technology products such as Identity Management Suite (OIA, OIM, OID, etc.),WebCenter Suite is considered a plus

• Experience of delivering IT service delivery projects as a technical specialist (developer, solution architect) in large organizations is considered a plus

• Experience with IT projects delivered in banking industry is considered a plus

• Experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes and flows in complex organizations is considered a plus

• Sales or presales experience in an IT services company is considered a plus

• Knowledge of English

• Native Romanian speaker
