Data Replication & Integration:

• Design, build, and operate enterprise data replication and integration pipelines using Oracle GoldenGate and other tools such as Oracle Data Migration Service (DMS), Data Pump, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

• Support both operational and analytical workloads through reliable and scalable data flow designs.

Data Architecture & Cloud Engineering:

• Build and manage cloud-based storage layers (OCI Object Storage, AWS S3, Azure Blob) for scalable data processing.

• Utilize Data Lake and Data Mesh technologies to organize and govern large datasets.

• Operate and manage enterprise database environments, including Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB).

Resiliency & Performance:

• Develop resiliency and disaster recovery plans for data plane components to ensure business continuity.

• Implement and optimize bulk migrations and data movement using tools like Data Pump and RMAN.

• Maintain and enhance real-time streaming pipelines using platforms such as Kafka or OCI Streaming.

Security & Networking Collaboration:

• Work with infrastructure and networking teams to design secure and scalable data paths.

• Support hybrid and multi-cloud networking patterns, including VCNs, subnets, FastConnect, private endpoints, and equivalent services across clouds.

Required Qualifications:

• Deep experience with Oracle GoldenGate and strong working knowledge of Oracle data tools (DMS, ADB, Data Pump, Data Transforms, OIC, ODI).

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).

• Experience with Data Mesh concepts and real-world implementation.

• Understanding of high-availability and failover strategies (active-active, active-passive, blue/green, planned/unplanned failover).

• Experience with real-time data ingestion or streaming frameworks (Kafka, OCI Streaming).

• Ability to work closely with networking teams on hybrid or multi-cloud connectivity.

We're looking for a hands-on Data Plane Engineer to design, build, and operate core data movement and integration layers for the enterprise. This role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and low-latency data flows across diversified (on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud) environments. You’ll work with modern replication and streaming technologies to keep data secure, available, and on-time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating in multi-cloud environments (OCI, Azure, AWS).

• SQL proficiency and DBA experience.

• OCI or Azure data-related certifications.

Qualifications:

• Career Level – IC4 (Architect-level)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
