Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise System Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and features for core enterprise retail systems (e.g., inventory management, supply chain, warehouse management).
  • Translate complex business requirements from various departments (finance, merchandising, logistics) into technical specifications and viable software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• System Integration & Data Management:
  • Develop and manage complex API integrations (RESTful, SOAP) to ensure seamless data flow between enterprise systems and other platforms (e.g., e-commerce, POS, third-party logistics partners).
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries for high-volume data transactions.
  • Implement data synchronization and validation processes to ensure data integrity across all systems.
• Technical Support & Optimization:
  • Provide expert-level support for enterprise-level applications, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions for critical issues.
  • Monitor system performance and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and enterprise architecture.
• Collaboration & Project Management:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural planning to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years proven experience as a Developer working with enterprise-level retail or e-commerce systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern back-end programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• Expertise in database design and management (SQL, with a focus on databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
• Solid experience with API development and integration (RESTful, SOAP).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure retail environment.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule which is essential to support the team's operational hours.
