Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle BI/OTBI Developer with hands-on experience in building, customizing, and troubleshooting reports and dashboards in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in BI Publisher, OTBI, and Fusion data models, and capable of resolving data inconsistencies, report errors, and performance issues.

The role also includes working on data migration, personalization, and support tasks across multiple time zones. The candidate must be ready to work in shifts to support global business operations and critical reporting needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for data discrepancies, report failures, and performance issues.
  • Optimize SQL queries and report performance.
  • Maintain scheduled jobs, burst reports, and automated data extracts.
  • Document data mappings, report logic, and issue resolutions.
  • Support personalization using Sandbox and VBS where applicable.
  • Participate in shift-based work schedules, including off-hours support when needed.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong expertise in SQL (PL/SQL experience is a plus),Minimum of 5 Years Experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of development and customization of BI Publisher Reports, OTBI Reports, and Dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Migration using FBDI and HDL Loader.
  • Proficiency in personalization, Sandbox customizations, and Visual Builder Studios (VBS).
  • Understanding of ESS Jobs, Value Sets, and Descriptive Flexfields (DFF).
  • Functional knowledge in Oracle Fusion modules of SCM (Supply Chain Management.
  • Candidate should have good attitude and learning capability to pick up any modules apart from the modules he/she is aware.
  • Candidate is expected to work in support model.
  • Ready to work in shifts including night shift. The role will be based in Bangalore / Hyderabad / Other India Locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BICC for data extraction.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or OBIEE.
  • Knowledge of OIC, cloud storage, or external integrations.
  • Understanding of role-based security and access controls in OTBI.

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver support and solutions in Fusion SCM modules to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving Functional & Technical Issues, working on enhancements, etc. Customer raises issues through phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for the implemented solutions. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

  1. Resource would play a key role in running development and support projects for Oracle SCM/SaaS/Fusion customers and should have experience in working on development, support of CEMLIs and Implementation (Waterfall or Agile methodology)
  2. The job involves working with customers in different time zones and resource should be flexible to work in shifts including night shifts
  3. Resource should be able to independently work on Fusion Technical solutions - Design, develop and test.
  4. Functionally good in Configurations and experience on all functional features of SCM Modules
  5. Resource should be able to investigate, analyze, design and develop solution for enhancements/developments related to integrations from functional perspective.
  6. Resource should be able to identify the impact of patches and determine functional and technical steps required to minimize the disruption to business
  7. Report progress/status/risk/issues on development at regular basis.
  8. Resource should be able to manage the complete development pipeline and manage the scope, time and cost and delivery of all the CR & Enhancement requests
  9. Resource should be able to lead the support team in Incident and Problem Management and come up with innovative solutions in short span of time.
  10. Resource should be able to understand customer requirements/user stories and implement practical solutions.
  11. Resource should have Good knowledge of business processes and application setups and the impacts of one setups to another.
