US: Hiring Range in USD from: $68,500 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Key Responsibilities Software Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Ruby and Python.
  • Implement features for clinical quality measure (eCQM) dashboards, reporting workflows, and analytics tools.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.

Healthcare Data Processing

  • Build and optimize data pipelines for FHIR, HL7, XML, JSON, and relational healthcare datasets.
  • Implement logic for measure calculations, patient cohort extraction, and reporting transformations.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to translate regulatory and clinical requirements into technical solutions.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

  • Work closely with product owners and senior engineers in sprint-based development.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Document technical designs and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

  • Learn healthcare domain standards (CMS, HL7, Joint Commission, eCQM frameworks).
  • Explore opportunities to improve developer productivity, automation, and analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute ideas to improve dashboard performance, scalability, and user experience.

Required Qualifications (IC2)

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Federal Security Clearance.
  • 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Ruby and/or Python with experience building RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate optimally and establish trust with team members

Preferred Qualifications (IC2)

  • Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, CDA, XML).
  • Experience with data analytics dashboards or reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exposure to Spark, Kafka, or large-scale data pipelines.
  • Interest in healthcare quality measures, analytics, or regulatory reporting.
