This role supports the Tiger Institute Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform and associated infrastructure in fulfillment of the contracted deliverables. Additionally, this role works alongside an existing senior engineer to ensure system reliability, secure data exchange, interface performance, and operational compliance aligned to contracted reporting requirements.

The associate must reside in Missouri to support state program alignment and stakeholder coordination.

HIE System Operations & Support

  • Support day-to-day operations of the HIE platform and infrastructure
  • Monitor system health, performance, and uptime
  • Troubleshoot interface errors, message failures, and data exchange issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes

Interface & Integration Support

  • Support HL7, CCD, FHIR, and other interoperability standards
  • Assist with onboarding new participants and connections
  • Validate inbound/outbound data feeds
  • Coordinate testing and production deployments

Collaboration & Redundancy

  • Partner closely with the existing senior HIE engineer
  • Provide cross-training and operational backup coverage
  • Collaborate with data, security, and infrastructure teams

US: Hiring Range in USD from $27.07 to $54.13 per hour; from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary.

  • Provide cross-training and backup support to reduce single-point-of-failure risk
  • Collaborate with data, security, and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance and secure data exchange
