Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply expertise knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will participate in the design and development of Oracle's DevOps Services. You should be a rock solid coder and have passion to learn new technologies. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

Basic Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience with application development using Java Microservices, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes & Public Cloud

- Proficient at programming in Java, and one other major programming/scripting language like Python or Go Lang.

- Strong distributed systems fundamentals

- Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering or related engineering fields

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong distributed systems fundamentals

- Terraform experience

- Prior development experience with DevOps in a Public Cloud (like AWS, Azure or GCP) tools or services

- Masters degree in Computer Science
