Global Process & Data Owner for Cloud Asset Controllers will be responsible for and drive global process governance, control effectiveness, and data integrity across OCI asset domains. Working with the various project teams to ensure CAC accounting, reporting and AI requirements have been identified, validated, and implemented. As a member of the finance division, you will assist in accounting functions which may include general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions. Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, analysis, reconciliation and reporting. Maintain and implement general accounting systems. Conduct account reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making. Develop and prepare financial reports including profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements. Review and analyze inter-company transactions. Ensure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specifications. Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes. May participate in special projects.
- Partner with GCO and Lines of Business (LOBs) to support strategic initiatives, ensuring effective controls through design, testing, and validation.
- Own and evolve OCI asset control processes, ensuring scalability, consistency, and compliance with Oracle policies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in process and system design, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement automation and AI opportunities to enhance efficiency and control effectiveness.
- Lead moderately complex projects and process improvements, exercising judgment across multiple variables and outcomes.
- Influence decision-making within the team and provide input into management decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align processes, data, and controls across systems and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability development.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Finance, Controllership, or Cloud Asset Governance.
- CA/CMA with 6+ years of post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of OCI environments and Cloud Asset Lifecycle Management.
- Expertise in process design, internal controls, and system optimization.
- Experience with automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives.
