| Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) student technical assistant for the RSG – Sea Grant at Oregon State University (OSU). This position is located at Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. This position will work with researchers from the Marine Mammal Institute to process zooplankton samples in the lab, and process photographic and drone video data on the computer. The position is funded by a grant to encourage participation by economically disadvantaged high school students who reside in Lincoln County and adjacent coastal communities. Applicants must be 16 or older and have transportation to HMSC. |
