| Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill two (2) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Research Lab Tech for the Environ & Molecular Toxicology at Oregon State University (OSU). Join the Tanguay Lab at the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology, Oregon State University, and become part of cutting-edge research in zebrafish high throughput screening. The research facility is located off-campus at the Sinnhuber Aquatic Research Laboratory. We are seeking a highly motivated Research Laboratory Technician to assist in our zebrafish high throughput screening operation. This role demands a self-starter with a keen focus on executing routine complex technical tasks while interacting with instruments, including microscope work to evaluate the morphology of zebrafish embryos. The successful candidate will utilize computer programs, automation robots, and instrumentation such as liquid handling systems, imagers, and microscopes. The successful candidate must be hard working, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to multitask.
