General Summary
Administers, analyzes, and manages licensing agreements to provide on-going contract administration support across IP licensing areas. Manages contract management systems and conducts research to prepare reports and/or correspondence related to the maintenance of license agreements and processes. Applies and maintains current understanding of Qualcomm policies, positions, and operations as well as legal guidelines related to IP licensing and contracts administration.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, IP Certificate, or equivalent and 4+ years of contract experience or related work experience.
OR
High School diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of contract experience or related work experience.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits
$28.85 - $43.27
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. - Processes, finalizes, facilitates approval for, and distributes licensing agreements between finance, legal, and licensing manager.
- Prepares summary of licensing agreements based on understanding of contracts administration procedures, structure, and guidelines.
- Manages the lifecycle of licensing agreements (e.g., renewals, termination, amendments, address changes) according to terms with limited guidance.
- Assists leaders across legal teams and licensing managers with preparing letters, notices, reports, and other correspondence to help maintain compliance with license agreements.
- Inputs contract data and audits license agreements in various contract management systems with guidance to ensure data is accurate, high-quality, and up-to-date.
- Researches, analyzes, and helps prepare reports on licensing agreement information to share insights with QTL counterparts based on knowledge of IP licensing and legal principles.
- Understands and helps communicate terms and conditions related to contracts with QTL counterparts.
- Analyzes and responds to requests for information in a timely manner, ensuring information is accurate.
- Learns new processes and approaches to accomplish work and recognizes ways to improve existing ones.
- Manages individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with supervision.
- Solicits and follows guidance to implement sound, ethical, and timely decisions.
- Works under some supervision.
- Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role may require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc.
