We are seeking an experienced gaming technology manager to join the Product Marketing team in China, to drive customer engagement, gaming roadmap and various marketing initiatives for Qualcomm Snapdragon application processors and Elite gaming in China. The ideal candidate will have an exceptionally strong background in mobile technologies related to GPU, gaming, AI, applications processing and multimedia. The candidate will work with product management, sales and marketing teams at Qualcomm, along with regional partners, to advocate and drive new Elite Gaming technologies into our customer base.
Frequent business travel is a requirement; the candidate is required to occasionally travel internationally outside of China mainland on short notice.
Responsibilities
10+ years of experience in Product Marketing/Management/Planning/Development, either for a leading SOC company or a top smartphone OEM
Strong technical knowledge of gaming is required, plus a strong background at least 2 others of the following areas: Graphics, CPU, AI/Machine Learning, Display, system level power and perf tuning.
Ability to drive projects effectively in a cross-functional, international team - Excellent communication skills are mandatory
Must be able to quickly understand complex concepts, simplify and translate them for a variety of audiences, and communicate them very clearly and effectively.
Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese as well as exceptionally strong English language skill is a firm requirement. the ideal candidate will be expected to be able to give presentations to large audiences on gaming topics in either English or Mandarin.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Currently in Engineering/Tech Product role in the gaming/Graphics industry with a focus on Mobile or PC
Experience in SOC design, gaming/graphics/CPU tech development
Technical knowledge of AI is a plus.
Experience with China mobile phone industry
Experience with CPU/GPU perf and power tuning and SOC design
Comfortable working with large, complex projects and deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong social team fit, self-motivated
MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science related field
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

- Work with product management, sales and marketing teams at Qualcomm, along with regional partners, to advocate and drive new Elite Gaming features into OEM base.
- Responsible for managing key gaming requirements from OEMs, including HW/SW features, Tools, Development Kit etc.
- Track OEM product gaming status and drive gaming optimizations with various teams both internally and externally
- Identify and anticipate gaming market trends, lead competitive analysis, and contribute to product planning activities for Snapdragon Elite Gaming.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Chinese OEMs
- Be able to learn and adapt a wide range of products and technologies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and influence senior leadership
