IT Support Engineer Intern

Red Hat IT Experience team is currently looking for an IT Support Engineering intern to join us in Pune, India. You will be assisting with day-to-day activities to support some of our key technical functions here at Red Hat, encompassing areas such as business systems analysis, enterprise hardware support, IT customer experience, software engineering or systems administration.

What you will do:
Be a responsible party for day to day IT support and serve as a point of contact for internal customers regarding IT issues, requests, and queries
Proactively monitor ticket queues, chat and phone to provide support to Red Hat associates
Provide general IT support; troubleshoot IT-related problems
Work within the ITSM system to ensure all tickets are responded to and updated per process for the benefit of the customer
Provide exceptional professional customer service to our internal RedHat associates in all interactions
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Passion for software, technologies and willingness to learn new applications
Ability to manage tasks
Willingness to learn and proactively work as a part of a wider team
Full time matriculated students in tertiary institution and able to commit 6-month program duration from Jan - July 2026
