AI Ecosystem Intern

This summer, we’re looking for a motivated AI Ecosystem Intern to join our Boston-based team and help shape how Red Hat and our partners bring AI to market.
In this role, you will explore real-world AI opportunities by engaging directly with Red Hat partners and customer-facing teams. You’ll investigate critical customer AI use cases, map them to Red Hat’s AI platform and ecosystem capabilities, and identify potential partner motions to enhance our go-to-market (GTM) approach.
What you will do
Conduct interviews with Red Hat partners, solution architects, and field sales teams to uncover the most pressing customer AI use cases
Analyze and synthesize findings to identify patterns, opportunities, and gaps in AI adoption
Map customer needs to Red Hat’s AI platform, open source technologies, and partner ecosystem capabilities
Recommend possible partner engagement strategies and motions that complement existing GTM efforts
Prepare and present a final report with recommendations to AI Ecosystem leadership
What you will bring
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, business, or a related field (expected graduation date December 2026 or later)
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative input
Interest in AI/ML technologies and understanding of enterprise technology trends
Excellent communication skills, especially in conducting interviews and presenting insights
Self-starter mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
Familiarity with open source software and Red Hat solutions is a plus
