The Red Hat Connectivity Link team is looking for an Intern interested in technologies around Kubernetes to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will work with our international engineering team. As an Intern, you will be contributing to the Kuadrant open source project and Connectivity Link product along with those engineers. This long-term internship will give you the opportunity to gain real world experience of working in the colocated team, using real processes, and learn technologies around Kubernetes.

Red Hat’s Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience — combining professional development, networking opportunities, social engagement, and impactful work. This is a paid internship based in our Brno office, typically lasting 12 months, with the possibility to extend up to 24 months. Interns work on average 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours, and the expected start date is July 1st.

What you will do:

• Actively participate in one of our distributed scrum teams and contribute to the Kuadrant project and Red Hat Connectivity Link

• Learn about a wide variety of subjects (Auth, Model Context Protocol, (Token) Rate limiting, DNS)

• Grow as a person and an engineer by being part of a team full of highly skilled individuals who are eager to mentor you and learn from you

What you will bring:

• You must be enrolled in a Czech university (Bachelor’s 3rd/4th year or Master’s) for the full internship duration and be able to work full-time within 2 years.

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English

• Basic knowledge of Python, GoLang, or Rust.

• Experience with docker and kubernetes is a plus.

• Experience with testing is a plus.

• Interest in learning new technologies; problem-solving skills.
