About the Job:

Red Hat is seeking a detail-oriented Sales incentives Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable business intelligence. In this role, you will interface with our business tools to extract and analyze Red Hat’s complex data. The focus will be around reporting on Sales Plans and Sales Attainment with a focus on product mix. The report and insights will bridge the gap between raw data and decision-making for our Sales, Finance, & Strategy teams.

The ideal candidate is an outstanding storyteller with data, capable of understanding the past and guiding towards future trends, while ensuring the underlying data remains pristine and reliable. You will serve as a key advisor to stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, strategic recommendations that drive business growth.

Note: This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws..

What you will do?

The Senior Data Analyst exercises good judgment and is responsible for working with minimal instruction, while making sound decisions to resolve moderately complex data analysis issues. This role supports business decision-making by providing in-depth analysis and insights, developing complex models, and preparing comprehensive reports that impact Red Hat.

• Access complex datasets from Red Hat business programs - Salesforce, Snowflake, & Varicent

• Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports that present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

• Design and build complex data models to forecast business performance and trends.

• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives.

• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.

• Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing data validation and cleansing techniques.

• Data management and analysis - work with the team to collect, validate, and analyze data from various sources to review attainment and payment calculations.

What you will bring?

• 5+ years of experience delivering compensation solutions in a consulting or management role, ideally in the enterprise software industry

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills - ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations

• Strong knowledge and experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, and Varicent

• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a distributed, global, and multi-cultural organization

• Business acumen and skills to engage business leaders on business terms and deliver business solutions.

• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written with excellent presentation skills

• Motivated problem solver with the ability to independently manage priorities
