| Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I within the Graduate Medical Education (GME) of the Rutgers Health, Office of Clinical and Health Affairs. The Senior Financial Analyst I reports to the Executive Finance Director and supports the oversight of budget and finance issues related to the over 140+ GME programs under the Rutgers Health Sponsoring Institution umbrella and management of Office of Clinical and Health Affairs strategic financial commitments. This position also works closely with the Vice Chancellor for GME, the GME Institutional Administrator, and Manager of Data Administration to further the goals of the GME mission. This position serves as a key institutional resource to address issues and concerns regarding GME finance topics from Rutgers Health Sponsoring Institution, RWJBarnabas Health system and affiliated training sites and GME leadership. The Senior Financial Analyst I plays a key role in developing business plans and proposals to support the GME strategy as directed by the Vice Chancellor for GME. This planning effort includes but is not limited to existing GME program expansion/contraction, new GME program start up, short- and long-term GME program portfolio projections, and collective bargaining negotiating efforts related to the Committee of Interns & Residents (CIR). The Senior Financial Analyst I also supports institutional reporting, decision making, and the implementation and management of Office of Clinical and Health Affairs strategic financial commitments across Rutgers Health. This position handles sensitive and confidential data daily and requires a high level of professionalism and discretion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
