| Posting Summary | Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist V to work in the Department of Health Informatics. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator(s), Dr. Priyadarshini Kachroo, the Research Teaching Specialist V will assist with ongoing projects in the Kachroo Translational Data Analytics Lab. The candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s degree in health sciences and will be involved in routine data quality assessments, application of machine learning and artificial intelligence methods, data management tasks, manuscript development, grant proposal assistance and other relevant scientific activities like assisting in statistical analysis and data coding, presentation and manuscripts preparation, etc. The Research Teaching Specialist V will have the opportunity to work with real-time electronic health record data, developing computational methods to integrate genomic, multi-omic, and environmental factors affecting lung health outcomes. Regular communication with Dr. Kachroo and related team members on assigned projects is expected. Research activities may also include but are not limited to basic analysis of quantitative and qualitative data with guidance of PI and related faculty.
