| Posting Summary | Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking a Laboratory/Technical Assistant. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, this Laboratory/Technical Assistant provides technical support in a Drosophila neurobiology laboratory in the Department of Biological Sciences, School of Arts and Sciences-Newark. The laboratory conducts research in genetics and cell biology using Drosophila (fruit flies) as a model organism. The research is focused on understanding the genetic and molecular contributions to Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
