Job Title: Technology Consultant

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Technology Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to be responsible for the detailed planning and execution of SAP IT implementations, including S/4HANA.

Expectations and Tasks:

Develop and assess strategies for IT organization and support processes. Identify the appropriate IT enabler to support the business strategy. Define detailed IT-landscape and transformation map based on enterprise requirements. Conduct IT-transformation management

process in direction to BPP. Support system optimization. Leverage the capabilities of the SAP's latest technology platform(s) and reinforce their benefits. Implement and support the operation of technical system landscapes. Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) using state-of-the-art methodologies. Engage in technology components-specific expert consulting. Deliver system optimization services, solution proposals, and bid management. Provide customer workshops and trainings. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Show comprehensive understanding of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas. Deliver according to specification and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Support in solution testing and issue resolution.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:

  • SAP Basis integration platform administration, including SAP ECC, BW, GRC, Solution Manager, and PI/PO;

  • SAP System installation, upgrade, and OS/DB migration of SAP ECC, BW, GRC, PI/PO and Solution Manager;

  • Troubleshoot and Root Cause Analysis on SAP ECC and S/4HANA;

  • Solution Manager implementation and configuration;

  • Monitor and performance tune SAP productive systems;

  • Go-Live, cutover, and post go-live hypercare support; and

  • SAP ECC system refresh from production environment to quality and development.

Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:

  • Configure and integrate SAP Fiori on S/4HANA; and

  • SAP HANA Disaster recovery setup and maintenance.

Travel: Position requires up to 40% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $118,024 - $126,180. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $118,024-$140,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
