Intelligent Data Management & Strategy (IDM) has the mission to realize value by making the data-driven enterprise a working reality through Trusted Customer & Material Master Data. Our global team brings together a diverse range of talents and perspectives, with a strong presence at our headquarters in Walldorf, where many of our team members are based on-site. In this role, you’ll


You will join SAP’s IDM Data-as-a-Service Center of Excellence, which is the central team responsible for managing the lifecycle of third-party data products used across SAP globally. This includes overseeing data contracts, tool governance and cross-functional alignment with Procurement, Data Privacy, Lines of Business and other stakeholders.

Your main project will focus on driving the contract renewal lifecycle of third-party data products. You will actively contribute to tracking, organizing, and improving the processes that ensure timely renewals and strategic supplier coordination. As part of this, you’ll support process automation, contribute to tooling enhancements, and facilitate operational governance across different departments and suppliers

You will be expected to:

  • Own key tracking activities for contract renewals, working closely with procurement and business owners
  • Drive communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to align on timelines and requirements
  • Support the enhancement of our documentation and tooling landscape (e.g., LeanIX, Signavio, Jira and SharePoint)
  • Help implement improvements to the renewal and onboarding processes
  • Participate in administrative and operational calls, capturing action items and ensuring follow-through

Who you are


You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Currently, you are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

What you bring:

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.
  • Interest or initial experience with project management tool
  • Comfortable contributing to project timelines, follow-ups, and documentation
  • Basic technical understanding of data systems and information flows
  • Open and transparent communication style, especially in cross-functional and virtual environments
  • Strong ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work hybrid on-site in Walldorf and remote

A Plus If You Have:

  • Experience or academic exposure to data management, data governance, or procurement-related topics
  • Willingness and ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders of SAP
  • German language skills (not mandatory
