HANA Experience team is a global and diverse team that combines the expertise of technical writers and UX designers to provide a desirable, harmonized, and accessible end-to-end user experience and continuous innovations for our customers. We use our passion for writing, design and technology to enhance the experience of SAP HANA Cloud and drive adoption of our database and data management products and services.
Our team’s mission is to deliver a consistent and intuitive user experience for SAP’s industry-leading database, SAP HANA Cloud. Our team members are closely integrated in the development process from discovery to delivery and continuous improvement. As a UX designer, you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues – software developers, product managers, UX designers and technical writers. We are looking for people who are eager to learn, creative and resourceful in getting things to work, and who are able of working independently and collaboratively.
What You'll do
You are expected to:
- Create UX and visual design specifications
- Work closely with product experts to provide our customers with fresh, friendly, and elegantly simple user experiences no matter their function or role
- Engage with end users, customers and the sales team to better understand the needs and workflows of the end users
- Combine new design mock-ups with existing product features and build videos to show that there is a meaningful story behind each feature request
- Be adaptable to challenges and flexible with changes
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues across all levels, teams, locations and willing to take ownership
What you bring:
- University degree in visual design, interaction design, or similar field preferred
- 1-3 years of working experience as a UX designer
- Experience in developing interaction and visual design specifications
- Profound knowledge of design software such as Figma and other related tools
- Self-motivated fast learner with exceptional follow-through while operating with a high sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Familiarity with databases or data management tools is a plus
- Openness to work with globally distributed team
