Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Technical Architect / TQM to lead end-to-end technical architecture design and quality governance for SAP programs across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud landscapes. The role demands strong leadership, hands-on expertise across SAP Basis, integration, security, and performance domains, and deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and BTP architectures. The ideal candidate will act as the technical anchor across projects, ensuring delivery excellence, scalability, and compliance with SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Architect:

  • Define and govern SAP technical architecture standards across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, CPI, Fiori, and third-party integrations.
  • Lead system landscape design, sizing, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and scalability planning.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure leads to design robust, future-proof solutions.
  • Review and validate custom development, interfaces, and integration points.
  • Provide expert guidance in SAP upgrades, conversions, migrations (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA), and cloud transitions.

As a Technical Quality Manager (TQM):

  • Serve as the trusted advisor and quality gatekeeper for SAP implementation and operations.
  • Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to clean core principles.
  • Identify architecture risks, performance bottlenecks, and security issues; recommend mitigation plans.
  • Define and track technical KPIs (e.g., system performance, interface availability, job health).
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery and technical governance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of SAP experience with at least 4+ years in a Technical Architect role.
  • Deep hands-on experience with:
    • SAP S/4HANA (on-prem and/or RISE with SAP)
    • SAP Basis administration and monitoring
    • SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway architecture
    • SAP Integration Suite (CPI), BTP, and cloud connectors
    • SAP Security concepts (SAML, SNC, IAM, roles)
  • Experience in leading technical teams and working in a matrix environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, SAP Activate methodology, and DevOps principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
