The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help us scale this service, ensuring top-tier reliability, performance, and automation across our global infrastructure
Your Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and other modern tools
• Operate and evolve our Kubernetes-based infrastructure on SAP BTP (Kyma, Gardener)
• Implement and automate observability using Prometheus, Dynatrace, Loki, and Grafana
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and operational readiness
• Automate incident response, monitoring, and routine operations using infrastructure-as-code and scripting
• Participate in architecture discussions and be a DevOps advocate within the tea
Your Profile
Must-Have Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and cloud-native patterns
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Deep knowledge of observability tools – especially Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki
• Excellent communication in English and a proactive, collaborative mindset
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with SAP BTP, Kyma, or Gardener
• Background in operating multi-tenant SaaS or enterprise cloud services
• Security and compliance awareness (ISO, SOC2
