Job Title: IT Technology Services Specialist

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services, and data to optimize/automate business processes.

Expectations and Tasks:

Improve work efficiency and provide the expert support in operations. Revise and update existing programs and provide require documentation. Facilitate the service and product lifecycle. Execute technical feasibility studies and solution reviews. Define and review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Customize, develop, and implement solutions. Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement. Participate in de-escalation activities. Contribute to the Build to Run engagement and the technical standards and frameworks. Manage cloud technologies, associated architectural styles (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks. Apply agile software delivery process and industry-standard toolset for DevOps implementation. Apply modern data processing technologies and methods. Apply modern SaaS platform, integration & extensibility concepts.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Prior experience, internship or academic coursework must include each of the following:

  • Front-end development in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VueJS, and knockoutJS;

  • Utilize Python for back-end development;

  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs, database management, and server-side scripting;

  • Implement information architecture and conduct usability test to optimize user experience;

  • Automation testing and continuous integration, including maintain and execute test scripts using Vyper, Qmate, Selenium and Jenkins;

  • Implement, customize, and configure SAP CPQ, using JavaScript, Python, and SAP Cloud Platform;

  • Conduct SAP S/4 HANA Configuration in Financial, Controlling, Material, Production, and Fulfillment modules;

  • Data analysis, visualization, warehousing, and modeling using Tableau, Excel, and Python Pandas;

  • Cloud Computing Infrastructure including AWS, Azure, and SAP Cloud Platform; and

  • Implement cloud solutions and integrate with applications.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $105,206 - $108,540. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $105,206 - $120,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
